Never The End
09:36
|
|||
Each day is a cycle of life
We are born in the morning
and we die in the night
And when we rise again
We rise with the power to
change the world
Do not dwell on the mistakes
of the past
Do not fear judgement
Look forward to tomorrow
For today is never the end
Never the end

Rains Over A Dying World
10:11
|
|||
I stand over your body
as you abandon life
I’m sorry if we’ve hurt you
I’m sorry if we made you cry
Your body was once our home
But we abused your gift
I know that we hurt you
I know that we once tortured your soul
You once were filled with life
No poison ran through your veins
But mankind bit the hand that fed
And venom flowed through your once pure blood
I know we betrayed you
It hurts me every day
I know we watched you
As you writhred in dismay
We failed you
We watched you bleed
We bled you
We watched you die
You once were filled with life
No poison ran through your veins
But mankind bit the hand that fed
And venom flowed through your once pure blood

The Great Filter
06:17
|
|||
I looked after you
Cared for you in ways which you will never know
I helped to raise you
Cradled the egg in which you grew
But I’m forgotten to you
You’ve overstayed your welcome
My time is now
And I will not rest until you are broken
Soon the weak will die
Only strong survive
Soon the weak will die
Only strong survive
The great filter
Un-natural disaster
Caused by poison made by man
Fill the air with toxic fumes
Death warrant signed by your bloody hand
Take your steps to the gallows
That you built with your ignorance
Your change of heart
Comes to late to save your pathetic soul
Soon the weak shall die,
Only strong survive,
Soon the weak shall die,
Only strong survive,
The great filter

Burn the Forests Down
05:28
|
|||
As the flames of our existence
Kiss upon the soil
And scorches life
From this toxic fertile wasteland
And from the ashes of this planet
Existence will rise again
And bring new life from this great death
Giving life a second chance
Life can continue from the bonemeal
made by this atrocity
And breed the seeds of the new world
Continuing this scorched Earth
Torch the Earth
Wallow in ash
Reset all life
Burn the forests down
Have we gone against nature
When the nature of humankind
Is the mistakes we made
A sordid history bathed in blood and ruin
Yet this cruelty is what makes us human
A great flaw within the human brain
A species born with a desire to love yet hate
This great hypocrisy which lives inside us
Will be the downfall of Earth
The cruel laugh at the suffering of all life
For once all human life has ceased to exist
And the fabric of humanity breaks down
Only then shall the Earth be free of this tyranny
But not before it burns down
Cruelty lives in us
So it may bring new life
So we must follow our bloodcarved path
And burn the forest down

Sanctuaries of Oak
08:48
|
|||
Follow me down a sunlit path
The light breaking through the treeline
Scents of lavender, garlic and fern
Clear your thoughts and your mind
An escape from the dense jungles of concrete
A freedom from the vast crowd of the mindless
Purge your body and purge your soul
From the thick pollution of the urban
Escape the great maze
Visit the garden of your mother, Gaia
In whose fertile womb you once cradled
Her body once tortured by asphalt scars
This forest a memory of her beauty
These towers of rock and steel which kiss the sky
Replace ancient towers of Oak, Ash and Pine
They desecrate the land once filled with life
Nature loved by man when man once loved life
Return to Earth
I see the world, I feel it’s pain
We are the gods who brought suffering and pain
A cruel hopeless existance which punishes the unkowing
We reek of death and no-one takes the blame
We’ve left the path we were sent when we were born
When man was a child at it’s mothers breast
Great forests to remind us of times long past
All we have left are sanctuaries of Oak
We kneel before the forests king
It’s roots descending beneath the graves of men
Behold it’s majesty
It’s great oak leaves which fall in autumns breeze
Mourn the garden of your mother, Gaia
Whose fertile womb is now dying
Her body tortured by asphalt scars
Not forgiven, we are forsaken
The spirit of the oak which watches through the eyes of the forest
Ever aware of the misdeeds of mankind against the Earth
Mourning the loss of life in our mass extinction event
Our only chance to change now lies before us
Why have we given up on ways of old, lessons taught in the past since forgotten
We kneel now in Sanctuaries of Oak
Why have we given up on ways of old, lessons taught in the past since forgotten
Remembering, but too late for our salvation

Praying to Man
07:42
|
|||
A thousand sleepless nights,
Tormented by the knowledge of our evils.
A living nightmare,
From which we can't escape.
Trapped inside our own mind,
Unwilling to open our eyes.
I pray for our redemption,
But not to a god.
I pray to fellow man.
A thousand haunted dreams,
Tormented by mankinds misdeeds.
A human nightmare,
Which we've created ourselves.
Trapped inside our own mind,
Unwilling to open our eyes.
I pray for our redemption,
But not to a god.
I pray to fellow man.

A glimmer of hope
Glistens in the winter snow
Burying the flowers
Of the darkest spring
This endless cycle
This endless hurt
These april flowers fade
Into cold winter winds
Loss of love
Loss of life
A hopeless spring
Where only thorns grow
This endless cycle
This endless hurt
These april flowers buried
So they may grow again more colourful
One day

Where has the light gone?
Why must we live in the dark?
Where has mankinds hope gone?
A species who suffer in silence.
We were bathed in our mothers light,
When we were born, when we were young,
Now we die,
Surrounded by shadows.
Where have our loyalties gone,
We've betrayed our home.
Gaia gifted us with lift,
Now we gift her with death.
We were bathed in our mothers light,
When we were born, when we were young,
Now we die,
Surrounded by shadows.
How did we fall this far?
Why did we forsake our children?
No hope for generations to come,
A species destined for ruin...
Alone.
